Grandma's Stuffed Bell Peppers

This mix helps you make six stuffed bell peppers that are filled with beef, rice, tomato sauce, cheese and spices.
Additional Ingredients: 6 Green Bell Peppers, 1 lb Ground Beef, 8 & 15 oz cans Tomato Sauce, 1 1/2 C Mozzarella Cheese
Directions: Preheat Oven: 350 degs
Cut a circle around the top of the pepper and remove it. Cut out seeds and membranes. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 - 7 minutes - sit upside down on paper towels so water drains off.
While boiling peppers, cook and drain the hamburger, then add back to the pan and add dry mix, 15 oz can of tomato sauce and cook for 20 minutes - add 1/2 of the cheese to mixture, stir well. Turn peppers upright, add to 9x13 pan and spoon in the mixture - pour remaining tomato sauce over the tops of the peppers. Cover with foil and bake for 35 - 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until cheese has melted.
