Shepherds Pie is always a great meal when feeding several people. This combination of your favorite meat, potatoes, veggies, and seasonings all brought together in one dish not only tastes fantastic, but makes for easy prep work. We include everything but the meat and a few liquid ingredients.
Additional Ingredients:
1 C Water, 1 TBSP Worcester Sauce, 1 1/2 C Shredded Cheese, Half to One pound ground beef (can use ground turkey or chicken) depends on your personal choice
Meat Mixture:
Place raw meat, Worcester Sauce, and seasoning packet in a pan and cook until meat is cooked through (using 80/20 works best). Do NOT drain, unless you are using a fattier meat and you have a LOT of grease.
Potato Topping:
Add Potatoes to a bowl and blend with 1 Cup of Water. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more water. Check seasoning (if adding more water). Stir well.
Preheat oven 375 degrees
Add meat mixture to a 4x4 up to no larger an 8x8 (the larger the pan, the thinner the meal will come out for this tester) and top with the potatoes. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese. Bake until cheese is melted and enjoy.
